Madman Pressure Sensors

Our pressure sensors are electronic sensors with no moving parts

They are supplied with a 1 meter (3ft) wiring harness with 3 cores.

RED  = Positive
BLACK= Negative
BLUE = Signal

VDO 360-081-029-004C

This is the original VDO branded sensor we used from the beginning. This sensor has a miving contact over a wire would resistor and is prone to erratic readings and drifiting values, in addition it also has a body-earth arrangement which leads to further erratic readings.

This range is no longer used and is replaced by the MPSxx range.

Madman MTS150

Our temperature sensors are electronic sensors with no moving parts

They are supplied with a 2 meter (6ft) wiring harness with 3 cores.

RED  = NOT USED
BLACK= Negative
BLUE = Signal

VDO 323-801-009-001

This is the original VDO branded sensor we have used since the beginning. Very reliable but the connector gives problems and the sensor uses body-earth which causes erratic readings.

They are supplied with out wiring or connectors.

These are compatible with EMS1, EMS2 and EMS3 units only and are being phased out.

Madman TP100

Our EGT probes are 4.8mm  5/16″ K-Type design

They are supplied with a 2.2 meter (7.2ft) wiring harness with 2 cores.

RED  connect to ORANGE
YELLOW connect to White
